How you speak now
Every comparison in Familect has two sides: where you are, and where you’re going. Without knowing anything about you, the app uses your language’s conservative reference variety for the first side — a comparison point, not a better version of the language. Tell it how you actually talk and that side becomes yours.
This is a claim you make about yourself, and it is only ever used to measure the distance from your speech to something you’re learning. It is not a voice to try on, and Familect will not offer you one.
