Portuguese in Macau survives today as a co-official but minority language spoken fluently by a small community, historically alongside the (now nearly extinct) Patuá creole. As with Timorese Portuguese, rigorous instrumented phonetic studies of a distinct 'Macanese Portuguese' accent are scarce, so this preset is a cautious, documented approximation rather than a well-attested standard.
